Panda News:

We continued to work on our gingerbread theme.  This week we focused on Jan Brett's The Gingerbread Baby.

Language Arts:  

We worked on lowercase u and i.  We also worked on the word am. We worked on retelling the story focusing on beginning, middle and end.

Math:

We continued to work on practicing teen numbers.  We played a variety of games using dice and ten frames.

Art:  

The students created gingerbread babies and a house for them to live in.

Social Studies:  

The STA is running community service project to collect food for the needs of people in our community.  They can bring in a canned good to add to the deposit boxes.  Also don't forget about the other service projects going on throughout the school.

Science:  

We made gingerbread slime.  The kids loved playing with it.  I will link the recipe and check out the photos on Flickr
